The casinos are in the business of making money through gambling. They know that most players gamble for pleasure and will lose. Only a few win. So it is in the casinos interest to see more people who know how to gamble.
While the majority of people who go to a casino know how to play casino games, there are those that happen to visit a casino but have never seen a roulette wheel in action or a blackjack player busting.
Because of this, many casinos offer free gaming lessons to whoever is interested to play but is not sure how the game is played.
The lessons are not just for beginners. Regular gamblers may want to learn a game they have never tried before or are not sure of or just want to improve their existing gaming skill.
Besides learning the basic rules and strategy of each game, you get to also learn the proper jargon and etiquette associated with each game, which you may find very useful.
The gaming lessons will also teach helpful things a beginner probably would not know initially. They show you where you should place your cards, chips and bets, and which are forbidden areas on and around the tables.
The gaming teachers are usually very friendly and helpful. So feel free to ask and do ask anything you don't know or are not sure of. After all, their aim is to make you an educated gambler.
