Review - Editor's personal experience at the La Palm Casino in Accra: This is a very nice medium size casino on two floor levels with friendly management and casino personnel. The main gaming area with table games, slots, touchbet roulette and a bar is on the ground floor. Next to the reception at the entrance there is a separate sportsbook lounge with three computers and two TVs showing live sports. The other gaming area is in the basement with three poker table games, slots, touchbet roulette and a snack bar (called the Saigon Lounge) serving food to both floor levels. Players can also order food from the hotel restaurant menu and the dishes will be brought to them. In the basement there is also Karaoke function rooms as an entertainment facility. The gaming currency is in US$. Passport or ID is not required to enter the casino and there is no registration. They only ask for your first name when you buy-in chips for the first time. The casino is accessible from within the main hotel building and from the outside.
Rating: Very good casino!

Review - Editor's personal experience at the Millionaires Casino in Accra:
This is a very nice small to medium size casino in the basement floor. The casino is located adjacent to the Golden Tulip Hotel but is independent from the hotel. There is only one entrance to the casino and it is from outside the hotel building. Besides the usual gaming machines and live table games, this casino has two electronic card game tables, one blackjack and one Caribbean stud poker with progressive jackpot. The electronic system follows the same rules as the live table games but without the actual dealer being present. There is a snack bar in the casino and also the players can order food from the hotel restaurant menu and the dishes will be brought to them. The gaming currency is in US$. Passport or ID is not required to enter the casino and there is no registration. They only ask for your first name when you buy-in chips for the first time.
Rating: Very good casino!

If you are taking a taxi from a taxi rank, the taxi will have a sign on top of the car stating the area where that taxi will take passengers. Taxi drivers do honk at pedestrians to see if they require a taxi. Agree on the fair before you board the cab. You can ask for a reduction or tell him how much you are willing to pay. If he accepts you get on board if not you look for the next taxi. A fast and comfortable way to travel from Accra to Kumasi and Tamale is by air. Go to Kotoka International Airport for the flight times and to purchase a ticket.
