Editor's personal experience at the Gala Casino Cardiff in Wales: This is a nice, small to medium size casino on the 1st floor. There is a lift immediately next to the reception that takes guests up and down the floor, which is also used by the disabled. The gaming hall includes the regular table games, slots/video machines, individual video roulette machines and touchbet roulette terminals connected to real tables and to automatic mechanical roulette wheels. There is also a small cardroom area with two tables for poker players. In the gaming hall, there is a restaurant/chargrill, a bar and a TV lounge. The casino is located in the city centre close to shops, shopping centres, entertainment venues, hotels and Cardiff Central railway station.

Editor's personal experience at the Grosvenor Casino Cardiff in Wales: This is a very nice and popular medium size casino with a pleasant atmosphere, located on the ground floor. The casino personnel and management are welcoming, friendly and helpful. A set menu at a special low price is available at the restaurant from Sunday to Thursday. At the weekend, it is a-la-cart menu only. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The restaurant starts from 7 pm and snack food is served from the lounge bar throughout the day. The casino is located outside the city centre, but not far away. There is parking facility and getting there from Cardiff Central by taxi will cost you about Ł5 and is about 8 minutes drive.

A free shuttle bus "The Casino Flyer", runs daily from Westgate Street to the new premises with a 5 minute turnaround. The Shuttle starts at 7pm daily and finishes at 4am Fridays and Saturdays and 6am on all other days.
Editor's personal experience at the Les Croupiers Casino in Cardiff, Wales: This is a nice, large size casino on two floors, but not very busy. The casino personnel and management are welcoming and friendly. On the first floor, there is a restaurant serving Cantonese food, and next to it on the same level, is a large cardroom with 20 tables for poker players. The main gaming area with regular table games and machines is on the ground floor, together with a lounge bar and a stage where live-band music is performed at the weekends. The casino is located outside the city centre, but not too far away. There is parking facility and getting there from Cardiff Central by taxi will cost you about Ł8. There is a free shuttle bus service offered by the casino that runs from the city centre to the casino and back every about 15 minutes, starting from 7 pm until the early hours.
