Elegant, quiet and calm atmosphere. Friendly management and the casino personnel. Beautiful decor, attractive staff, three bars, and a restaurant with pricey a-la-carte menu.

Piccadilly Circus tube station nearby.

Remarks: The Mint is an attractive club located in the heart of South Kensington. Catering for a wide variety of customers, this friendly club offers two distinct gaming areas and convenient facilities.
Editor's personal experience at the Mint Casino, London: This is one of my favourite casinos. Small but very nice. Welcoming and friendly casino management and personnel. The main gaming area is downstairs with a bar and a buffet area offering good food (at a nominal fee, sometimes complimentary); and in the upper floor a separate 'Silver Room' with gaming tables for high rollers, a bar, TV lounge and a lovely restaurant. The restaurant has a very nice decor and the tables are well laid out. The food served is first class, in range and quality and the service is impeccable. It is remarkable how the restaurant manager (Roland Pfeifer) has been so consistent for so many years in maintaining the high standard of quality and the excellent service, which I have enjoyed for the past 15+ years as a member of the Mint Casino (it was launched 17 years ago, on 14 February, 1990). The restaurant is small and it is advisable to book beforehand on Saturdays. At the Mint Casino you feel welcome throughout - the people at the reception desk, the dealers and the supervisors and the waitresses in the gaming area, the waiters at the bars, even the car jockeys; they are all happy to serve you and want to make you feel welcome.
