 Editor's personal experience at the Ladbrokes Casino, Paddington: The major part of the casino is on one L shaped underground floor. Modern British style interior. Elegant, quiet and calm atmosphere. Friendly management and the casino personnel. Beautiful decor, attractive staff, three bars, and a restaurant with pricey a-la-carte menu.

Editor's personal experience at the Maxims Casino Club in London: This is a very nice and elegant small to medium size casino, but not busy. The reception, restaurant and bar are on the ground floor and the gaming areas are split in two: one in the basement and one on the first floor. I visited the casino on a Tuesday night and was told that only the basement was open for gaming. Gaming on the first floor opens when it gets busy, probably at the weekends. There are no slot machines or electronic games. The gaming tables in the basement are spread in two separate rooms. In one room there are three card tables and two roulette tables, and in the other smaller room there are two card tables and one roulette table. Minimum bets start at £1 at roulette and £5 at the card games. The restaurant is beautiful and elegant with an extensive menu. The food is very good and the service is excellent. The casino management and personnel are very friendly and welcoming. There are nearby parking meters and the nearest underground tube station is Gloucester Road (10 minutes walk, Piccadilly, Circle and District lines).

The main gaming area is downstairs with a bar and a buffet area offering good food (at a nominal fee, sometimes complimentary); and in the upper floor a separate 'Silver Room' with gaming tables for high rollers, a bar, TV lounge and a lovely restaurant.

Editor's personal experience at the Napoleons Casino in London: This is a pleasant and very popular medium size casino in the centre of London. The casino floor is in a basement. The gaming area is in one hall. There are touchbet gaming machines connected to live table games for roulette and punto banco. The restaurant serves European and Asian food. The food is good and the service is good. There is also complimentary Vietnamese buffet from midnight three days a week, complimentary Asian style buffet every Wednesday & Saturday from midnight, complimentary Dim Sum every Sunday lunchtime from 1.30pm, complimentary Chinese Buffet from midnight to late every Monday and Tuesday. Visitors are welcome and there is no need of ID to enter the casino and play. However, if you take up membership you will get various benefits and as a new member you receive one voucher dinner for 2 for the price of 1, one voucher 4 drinks for the price of 2, and one free £10 ticket to be used on the touchbet machines. There are nearby car parks and two underground tube stations: Leicester Square (2 minutes walk, Piccadilly line and Northern line) and Piccadilly Circus (8 minutes walk, Piccadilly line and Bakerloo line).

Editor's personal experience at the Park Tower Casino in London: This is a very nice and elegant small size casino in the same building of the Sheraton Hotel at 101 Knightsbridge, on the main street, but is not part of the hotel. The reception, gaming area and bar are on the ground floor and the restaurant is on the first floor on its own. There is a private gaming area within the main gaming area with 3 table games. There are only 4 slot machines in the TV lounge at the bar and 4 touchbet roulette machines linked to a live table. The restaurant is nice and elegant with an extensive menu. The food is good and the service is good. There are nearby parking meters and the nearest underground tube station is Knightsbridge (3 minutes walk, Piccadilly line).

There are nearby car parks and the nearest underground tube stations is Piccadilly Circus (3 minutes walk, Piccadilly line and Bakerloo line).

There is a daily two-course set menu for £10 plus a-la-carte menu including Lebanese dishes. Free parking with valet service. The nearest underground tube station is Marble Arch (Central line) and is only 2-minute walk away.
