New Mexico has 11 Native Indian casinos that offer an assortment of table games and electronic gaming machines. Additionally, slot machines are allowed at four of the state’s race tracks as well as at about 30 various fraternal and veterans clubs.
New Mexico gaming regulations require that electronic machines at racetracks and fraternal/veterans organizations be set to return a minimum of 80% and a maximum of 96%.
All New Mexico Indian casinos are normally open 24 hours and offer: blackjack, craps, roulette, video slots, and video poker. Some casinos also offer: mini baccarat, poker, pai gow poker, three-card poker, caribbean stud poker, let it ride, big 6 wheel, keno, bingo, and simulcasting. The minimum gambling age is 21 but some casinos will allow playing bingo from the age of 18.
